Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Civil Service Exam Review Platform (“the Platform,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including our website, Android mobile app, practice quizzes, flashcards, leaderboards, progress tracking, and related features.

By creating an account, signing in (including with Google), or using the platform, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Cookies Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Some features — including the in-app help assistant, support chat, referrals, newsletter, offline downloads, mistake review, and premium plans — have additional rules described in the sections below.

Civil Service Exam Review Platform is an independent study and practice platform for Filipinos preparing for the Civil Service Commission (CSC) exam. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the CSC.

We provide tools such as:

• AI-assisted and cached practice questions across CSC-relevant categories.
• Flashcard review, progress dashboards, mistake review, and full exam simulations (premium).
• Practice credit limits for free tiers and unlimited practice for active premium plans.
• Leaderboards, Hall of Fame, score sharing, rank emblems, and community reviewer statistics.
• Referral rewards, achievements, limited-time promotions, and optional bonus practice credits.
• An in-app help assistant for platform how-to questions (not official CSC exam answers).
• Signed-in support chat to contact our team about account, payment, or technical issues.
• Optional accounts, email newsletter, push notifications, and premium access plans where offered.
• An Android mobile app with native sign-in, push alerts, and optional offline practice and flashcard pack downloads synced to your account.
• Optional profile details (such as school and target exam level) to personalize your experience.

Content is for review and educational purposes only. We do not guarantee exam results, passing scores, or alignment with every future CSC bulletin change.

You may use many features without an account. If you register or sign in:

• You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
• You may sign in with email/password or Google. Google sign-in is subject to Google's terms and privacy policies as well. On Android, Google sign-in may use native device authentication where supported.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• You must verify your email when required for email/password accounts before certain features are available.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, submit fraudulent payments, abuse community features, or harm the platform or other users. Suspended accounts cannot sign in, premium access is revoked, and a suspension notice may be delivered by email or push notification where available.

You may request account deletion by contacting support@csereviewplatform.com.

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes.
• Attempt to hack, scrape, overload, or reverse engineer the service.
• Upload malware, spam, or harmful content through ratings, comments, or support channels.
• Use the help assistant or support chat to request live exam answers, harass staff, or send abusive content.
• Abuse referral links, practice credits, or achievement rewards through fake accounts or automation.
• Impersonate others or submit misleading leaderboard or profile information.
• Circumvent access controls, payment requirements, or exam-access restrictions.
• Automate requests in a way that degrades service for other reviewers.
• Copy, resell, or redistribute question banks or platform content without permission.

We may remove content, revoke access, or take other action to protect users and the integrity of the platform.

When you submit leaderboard names, ratings, comments, support messages, shared scores, or similar content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display, store, and moderate that content on the platform.

You represent that:

• You have the right to submit the content you provide.
• Your content does not violate law or third-party rights.
• Public submissions may be visible to other users.

We may edit, hide, or remove user content that violates these Terms or community standards.

The platform design, branding, software, curated content, and original materials are owned by Civil Service Exam Review Platform and/or its licensors. CSC exam names and related public-domain or reference materials remain subject to their respective owners.

You receive a limited, personal, non-commercial license to use the service for exam preparation. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative commercial products from our content without written permission.

Some features require payment or manual verification of proof of payment. Premium plans may include 1-month Pro, exam-cycle access (valid through the current CSC exam season shown at purchase), or lifetime access. Where applicable:

• Prices, validity periods, and included features are shown on the pricing and payment pages before you pay.
• Free tiers include limited practice credits; premium unlocks full exam simulation and unlimited practice for the active plan period.
• GCash or card payments may be offered. Card checkout, when enabled, is processed by Stripe.
• GCash submissions may require manual admin verification before access is granted.
• On the Android app, payment checkout may open in your device browser and return you to the app through a secure deep link after completion.
• Refunds, if any, are handled according to the offer shown at purchase time.
• We do not store full payment card details on our servers.
• Access may be revoked for chargebacks, fraud, or Terms violations.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.
• Offline practice and flashcard packs will always match the latest online question banks.
• Practice questions exactly match live CSC exam content or difficulty.
• AI-generated content, help assistant replies, or admin draft suggestions are always accurate, complete, or up to date.
• Support responses will be instantaneous; typical human replies may take 1–2 business days.

You use the platform at your own risk and should verify important information through official CSC sources.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Civil Service Exam Review Platform and its operator shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) one hundred Philippine pesos (PHP 100), except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.

We may modify the service or these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

We may suspend or discontinue features, or terminate access, with or without notice where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, or service operation.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts in the Philippines, unless mandatory consumer protection rules provide otherwise.
